Academic Leadership in Teaching & Learning: Registration

Due to staff unavailability, the advertised course 'Academic Leadership in Teaching and Learning’ will not be offered until semester 1, 2020

For semester 2, 2019, CHELT is offering an 'Add-on' to the Academic Leadership in Teaching and Learning course offered in previous semesters.  While it extends the 'Academic Leadership in Teaching and Learning course, it can also be taken as a 'standalone' course, or as one or more individual sessions, or as a precursor to the longer course. This 5 week offering will address the 'constraints and opportunities' which surround academic leadership of teaching and learning. The 'add on' is being offered by Linda Hort, Emeritus Fellow at ANU, whose academic career focussed on Teaching and Learning in Australian Universities. As well as designing and teaching courses; proposing and having accredited, programs; being a course and program coordinator; and working in academic staff development to improve teaching and learning, in several Universities; Linda has been a Head of School; a Deputy Dean, Teaching and Learning; and the Director and CEO of pathway Colleges, teaching international and domestic students, in two Universities.
